ARK002 ABSTRACT PLANES
A bullet train glides through towering skyscrapers. Dust dances in the late afternoon light. Ballerinas pirouette in sync. Birds fly in formation over an empty beach. Hands finally meet in the dark. The subway bounces a toddler to sleep. She makes a wish as dandelion seeds dance in the breeze. Stars glitter. Crickets murmur. Glasses clink. A plane whirs overhead. And the ancient willow sways, back and forth, back and forth. Introducing our first volume of case studies in tonal atmosphere and texture, Abstract Planes. Featuring ten minimal compositions reworked in every key these complex-yet-simple works are building blocks of narrative and scene.
