All senses have failed you but one. In total darkness, you plod ahead with nothing to guide you but a sporadic, cacophony of ticks, clicks, revs, beeps, knocks and metal strikes that paint a vivid scene in your minds’ eye of the dangers surrounding you on all sides. [As the church bell’s final peal rings out, your boots stomp across a wooden plank and you know you’ve reached a hallowed place of rest at last. Instinctively, you begin to dig in the parched soil with the rusty spade you carry everywhere these days. But as the gunshots get closer, your breathing gets heavier and you wonder just whose grave are you digging?] The Audile is a diverse collection of cues built around a distinct sonic concept – a breath, a plane, a gun, a car – but each woven into fully musical, rhythmic or driving synth-based tracks.
